UAE Sources of Wealth (SOW) Investigations
Our client, a financial institution, needed to quickly establish the sources of wealth of a potential client in the UAE. The individual was employed by a local authority on a modest salary but had a large stake in a local company, which raised concerns to our client.
Through a combination of public records research, open source Arabic research and human source enquiries, our Network Partner was able to identify ultimate ownership of the entity and context around the individual’s source of wealth.
By utilising the Ground Truth platform, our client accessed this information quicker than traditional methods and at a significantly lower cost.
